Photo Shoot #2

For the next shoot we will use ideas from "rule of thirds" & DOF &  angles
Take 25
10-DOF (use a prop) to help with creating depth in you images

Shoot Angles Picture



1.Upload pictures you took for photo shoot into a folder on your H-drive
2.Use BeFunky or PicMonkey Collage to make a contact Sheet
3. Save  "contact sheet" (collage)
4. Add it to your DOF / rule of thirds page and label
5. Follow directions below to practice DOF

You will be creating the illusion of DOF in Photoshop. The tools you will be using include.
  • Duplicating Layers
  • Filter >Blur>Gaussian Blur
  • selection tools
  • Opacity
  • Sharpen tool (looks like a cone)
  • Blur tool (looks like a rain drop)
  • Eraser / Brushes / Diameter

Before editing.....the back ground to too busy




After DOF editing. 




ASSIGNMENT:
you should have a contact sheet (collage) to prove you took pictures

choose 2 pictures to edit in PS to show shallow and deep DOF
-filters or blur tool or real

add to your blog page and label

Play with bokeh filter if you want more drama
go to filter, blur, field blur - slider bars
