A color mood board is used to inspire you, as you put together a color palette from the vision you've realized on the board. This simply means that you're saying to yourself "I want this feeling when I view this collection of work".

Think about COLOR theme as well as IMAGERY
​pick colors (no more than 3)
think about a theme.......how can the pictures be unified?


Use Photoshop to create a mood board design
-shape tool
-marquee tools (cut out)
-lasso tool (cut out costume shapes)


Mood Board Day #2
Use Photoshop to edit at least 6-10 images from your mood shoot

Try color match technique today
"Match Coloring" takes the colors from a chosen image and inserts them into another photograph to make them similar.

Choose >Image
Choose> Adjustments
Choose> Match Color
--You will now see a thumbnail of your image at the bottom of the pop up.
Were it says source select the drop down and scroll through the image options to adjust the coloring of your photo.
Click Save


Build the board while editing photos to see how it looks
Use Photoshop to build your mood board
-marquee tool to "cut" or "copy" out
-lasso tool to custom shape
Check out layer styles

Must have color swatches (3 max)
Must have at least 5/6 images that have been edited to color scheme
Think about elements and principals
​-shape, balance, emphasis, unity
